Amazing Time at Atlanticview
In general: What a lovely place to stay! The staff were so kind and helpful and the location is beautiful. Would highly recommend. Location and surroundings: Amazing location. Very close to table mountain and close drive to the waterfront area. Service: Friendly and helpful staff. Were able to help with whatever questions or requests I had. They even drove us over to Table Mountain! Room service and laundry reasonably priced. Dining: Complimentary breakfast and wine and hours d'oeuvres in the evening. All of the food was delicious. Also good delivery options in the area. Sports and leisure: Beautiful infinity pool. Room: Bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom shower was lovely. Typical room amenities plus mini kitchens in some (we changed rooms during our stay). Useful tips: Very accommodating with late check out. We were able to keep our bags at the hotel after our check out time while we explored more before our flight.

Our group had the most incredible stay at the Atlanticview. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and can't wait to return!
The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and even helped members of our group track down lost bags. The views are breathtaking, as the hotel is nestled between the ocean and the mountains. The breakfast and nightly canapés were delicious.
I have absolutely nothing to critique about our stay - it was divine.

What a classy establishment! I visited in July and had a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and with a great knowledge of things to do in Cape Town and the surrounding area during your stay. Do not miss the wine bar at the hotel - it's a great way to meet other people visiting the area, and the in-house food during breakfast is one of the best I've had. The location is great, and I can't even describe the ocean view. I hope to return soon!

What more could you ask for?
In general, this place is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone. Location and surroundings: Beautiful vistas, and a location perfect for exploring both the city and the country. What more could you want? Table Mountain is right there. Service: Always exceptional. My first interaction was when I almost drove past the hotel, the man waiting at the door ran to my car, welcomed me, parked my car, and brought all the bags in before we had even arrived. He was so nice and friendly, and that level of service was never impeded for the entirety of the trip. Dining: My least favorite part of the hotel was that the food was so good that I often felt dissuaded from exploring other dinner options in the city, as some great meals could be had by just waiting in the hotel. Sports and leisure: It took me until my last day to realize the hotel had a second pool. That's incredible. Room: Personal, yet never isolating, and unique in a way I'm not used to. Very wonderful and surely a standout. Useful tips: Get to know the hotel staff. They were so charming and funny and nice that they just seemed to vibe with everyone staying at the hotel.

Perfect for exploring Cape Town and the surrounding area. Welcoming, wonderful staff. Top notch amenities. Beautiful vistas. Excellent and unique rooms. Nice personal feeling.

Not really much I can say against it. It was pretty much precisely what we needed for our trip.

This is a wonderful hotel - I really enjoyed my time in Cape Town here!

Within the first minutes of my stay here, I was impressed at how personable the staff at Atlanticview was. They were friendly, ready to chat with a smile, and above all had personality-something that is hard to find, even at other five-star hotels. Each of the rooms is uniquely decorated, and ALL of the rooms are gorgeous. My room had a natural rock cropping that was incorporated into the design of the room, with a beautiful view of Cape Town to boot. The bathrooms were impeccable, the price of laundry was a steal, and the food kept me coming back, despite the plethora of restaurants in the area. Be sure to grab breakfast there, and if you're eating there for dinner, the Ostrich Burger is quite delicious! Lastly, for those of you who enjoy wine: When I decided to venture out into the countryside to visit some vineyards, the staff provided me with a vast array of personalized knowledge about which vineyards I should see according to my tastes. And be sure not to miss the complimentary wine and canapés they have during the evening! If you decide to stay here, prepare to be satisfied.

Outstanding staff, beautiful view, idyllic hotel

In general: Atlanticview is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. It truly has it all - great views, a hospitable staff, delicious food, and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend it for your stay. A highlight was the nightly complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres happy hour, which is a great opportunity for you to mingle with other hotel guests while you watch the sunset from the hotel's patio. Location and surroundings: Situated in Camps Bay, a ritzy suburb neighborhood of Cape Town, the hotel is just a short 10-minute car ride to the waterfront or the center of the city. If you don't feel like going all the way into the city, you can get dinner in Camps Bay. Service: Atlanticview has a truly wonderful staff. Since the hotel is small (20-22 guests maximum), they will cater to your every need. Dining: The hotel offers an extensive breakfast buffet (included) and breakfast in bed for those staying in the suites! The breakfasts are works of art. Sports and leisure: Small gym with limited offerings, but really you'll probably want to be out hiking Table Mountain or Lion's Head anyway. Room: The rooms are well-appointed with comfortable bedding and lovely renovated bathrooms. I appreciated the small touches - the wine bottle upon arrival and the fresh roses on the bathroom counter.

A wonderful stay. Location, staff, rooms, food, decor, views all spectacular.

-Clean, cozy, comfortable, spacious, and luxurious rooms (especially nice bathrooms). -Delicious food throughout our stay (breakfast, lunch, and dinner!). -Friendly and helpful staff. -Beautiful views. -Great location. -Awesome nightly wine tasting in hotel common area. -Affordable laundry. -Parking!

-Not really any, except maybe that when they're full, they're a bit understaffed at breakfast so it took a while to come.
